"Knokke Off," known in English-speaking countries as "High Tides," is a Flemish-Dutch TV series that follows the lives of a group of young people in their twenties during their summer in the Belgian coastal city of Knokke. The series combines drama, love and relationships, and gives a glimpse into their adventures and challenges.
Two twentysomethings, Louise Basteyns (Pommelien Thijs) and Alexandre Vandael, better known as Alex (Willem De Schryver), come from wealthy families and experience a carefree summer in luxurious Knokke together with their group of friends. Despite their carefree lifestyle and extravagant parties, they feel pressure from their parents to live up to high expectations. As a result, they become entangled in their search for true friendship, love and their own identity.
When Daan (Eliyha Altena) and his mother Melissa (Anna Drijver) enter their lives, everything is turned upside down.
