La casa de papel

The hit series 'La casa de palel', in English 'Money Heist', is a Spanish series released on Netflix. A group of thugs led by 'the professor' rob financial institutions.

The series was originally shown on Spanish television but without success. Netflix saw that the series had potential and bought the rights. After the original flop, the series became a huge international success. The actors have become big stars.

Characteristic of the series is that the criminals have names of major cities, such as Tokyo, Lisbon, Moscow, Berlin, Rio and Nairobi.

The most famous roles are played by Úrsula Corberó, Itziar Ituño, Álvaro Morte, Paco Tous, Pedro Alonso, Alba Flores, Miguel Herrán and Jaime Lorente.

Most of the series were shot in Spain.
