Home Alone .'s house

The well-known house from the first Home Alone films can be found in Chicago, in the suburb of Winnetka. The luxury house is unfortunately blurred on Google Streetview but everyone knows what this house looks like. The house was sold in 2012 for more than $1.5 million.

Many scenes from the first film were shot in Chicago and in the vicinity of this house.

The film revolves around the McCallister family who forget to take their son Kevin on vacation. When crooks want to break in, Kevin devises a plan to outsmart the crooks. Kevin was played by Macaulay Culkin.
