Bassie is looking for Adriaan and walks through the gorge.

The recordings would actually be made in the famous Samaria gorge in western Crete. Aad had only spotted the location on postcards. When production arrived at that gap, it turned out to be far too difficult to complete the shoot there. Aad went to the Theriso gorge, because it was easy to reach by car.

A fan found out about this gorge by looking for a gorge that you can drive a car through, as seen in the TV series.
