The circus (Circus Renz) from the series, the Key

The circus (Circus Renz) was during the recordings for the series, Bassie & Adriaan and the Secret of the Key, in the village, Riel (North Brabant) near Tilburg, on the Dorpsplein near the Kerkstraat in Riel. The church (H. Antonius Abtkerk) and the houses on the left are still there and not much has changed, the house on the right was built later.

In episode 1 and in the song, The show is about to begin, the church can be seen in the background.

At the end of episode 3, Bassie & Adriaan leave the circus and then go on vacation.

For years this location was unknown, but thanks to Tim Flentge of the Facebook group, Dutch religious heritage, he recognized the church and in doing so also the location where the circus used to be.
